Environmental toxicology and associated human health risks

Ecosystem toxicology by anthropogenic activities is a diverse and serious issueconfronting society, scientists, and regulatory authorities worldwide. Recently,the world has witnessed rapid and uneven industrial and technological developments accompanied with non-judicial and un-sustainable use of non-renewable resources.

The abovementioned human and ecological health hazards mediated by various pollutants imply the importance of a clean and safe environment, which has become a top issue in modern science. Nowadays, people have become more aware of the human and ecological consequences of pollutants.

Risk assessment indices predict probable routes and levels of pollutant’s exposure to human, and thereby assist to evade the health hazards by making and implementing timely decisions/policies/managements.
